Inspired by the world of architecture, the Spring 2019 shoe—following the success of the sculpted G-Heel—is making a special debut during Milan Design Week.

At first glance, the streamlined mule—crafted in black suede with two delicate straps—seems like a beautifully minimalist style. It’s when she walks past you, the unexpected comes into view. Like an architectural detail that catches your eye, the cornerstone of the “Farrah” is her expertly crafted, crystal-embellished, slanted heel.

The result of intense research, the heel is attached on an angle to create an intriguing and sensual line for the wearer. Defying traditional shoe construction, the heel is at once stable but also flexible enough to guarantee comfort.

From its unique form follows glistening embellishment. The extraordinary heel is transformed into a true gem thanks to the hand-application of 166 baguette-cut crystals.

“I have always admired and followed the world of design,” says founder Giuseppe Zanotti. “The way lines create intrigue and form allows for something functional and yet moving...I wanted to apply the same approach to the “Farrah”—a shoe for a fashion lover with an eye for architecture.”

The 95mm mule will be the center of the party during a special in-store cocktail during Milan Fashion Week. Available on giuseppezanotti.com, in Giuseppe Zanotti boutiques and with select luxury partners worldwide, the “Farrah” retails for 1.150 euro.
